The best croissant in the city, s'il vous plait.

Few things are as amazing as a freshly baked croissant; crisp, layery on the outside, a bit greasy from all the butter, and soft as silk on the inside. The best thing is though the enchanting smell; something you want to never disappear. Caroline Plummer thinks that our croissant at Les Trois Cochons is all that, and more.

"She eats them on Sunday mornings with her children. She eats them on Monday mornings before a stressful day at work. She eats them on vacation because without them, it wouldn't be a vacation. And why doesn't she get fat from eating all these croissant? Because she has the right to eat croissants without anyone giving her shit about how many calories they contain. Merde alors!"

- Caroline de Maigret, How to be Parisien, whereever you are.

Every singe bite of a good croissant, is a bite no-one wants to end. Enjoying a croissant is for many part of every day life, for others, something that you treat yourself, because you're worth it. It's something you might bake every Sunday morning, or when a loved-one is celebrating their birthday. With or without chocolate. Dipped in or as an indispensable sidekick to your coffee. We all have our ways.

Copenhagen is filled with honest, interesting people - many of whom we encounter on a daily basis or working next to at Cofoco. One of them you could be lucky to meet or just follow virtualy, Caroline Plummer.  On a Sunday morning, not long ago, she'd invited her boyfriend for a nice round of breakfast at Les Trois Cochons. A breakfast including what she came to celebrate as thebest one in the city, a croissant. Yes, the eggs or the avocado toast are amazing, but the croissant won her heart. As it should.

Bon appétit.
