Coco Hotel opens wine bar
In its atmospheric French inspired surroundings, Coco Hotel is now opening a wine bar. The bar is simply called Bar à Vin and has a wide selection with around 150 exciting wines, and more than 30 different wines by the glass glass. You can sit back and relax in the serene courtyard, or inside in the spacious and beautifully crafted bar.
The wine card is wide and ambitious, and while the main focus is on France, you'll also find wines from Italy, Georgia, Australia, Austria, Germany etc. There are both fun, rare and super serious wines, and a color scheme of many nuances: white, red, orange, pink, violet, yellow and even more. The red thread is craftmanship, passion and good taste.
Behind the bar is Cofocos own sommelier Sigurd Kjeldgaard, who is usually pouring wine at JAH Izakaya, and Riccardo Meconi, previously sommelier at Iluka and Bæst and now sommelier at Coco Hotel. Riccardo has worked with wine in both Milan and Rome and is ready to welcome Bar á Vins guests with expert guidance and recommendations.
To accompany the wine we have created an appetizing menu with small dishes that are great with wine: really good French cheeses, French and Italian charcuterie, cold and warm seasonal green dishes, oysters, Tarte au Comté and tartare.
