Mr. Porter came by

On a crisp day in February, where the Lakes were covered in a thin layer of ice, the renowned Mr. Porter, brother of the equally loved Net-A-Porter, and publisher of the quarterly namesake publication, came to town. They had arranged a field trip for a group of selected few, all with a sense of fashion and aesthetic digital footprint - lunch was enjoyed at Vækst.

The Danes seem to do everything right, and this stunning farm-to-fork restaurant from the Copenhagen Food Collective is no exception.

Mr. Porter

The chosen personalities, alle aligning with the stile and tone of Mr. Porters came from all parts of Denmark, and even from Sweden. Amongst others, Thomas Frydenlund fra Silkeborg, Martin/The Meat from Copenhagen and fashion editor of the Swedish King Magazine, Philip Conradsson. They all got to spend a moment or two at unique spaces in Copenhagen, like a trip to the ceramics studio, Yonobi, the specially decked out apartment made by Frama Cph, past Cofoco's own source of tea, Sing Teahouse, and finally enjoying lunch in the greenhouse at Vækst

They were served a tasting menu teasing the new lunch menu at Vækst, launching on Monday February 26th;a menu that yet again pushes the limit of what vegetarian cuisine can deliver, and always keeping it locally and seasonal. A star on the menu is the porcini mushroom tart.

It's not the first time Mr. Porter graces Vækst with a visit; they've previously named it one the 7 most healthy restaurants to eat at in the World.

See you in the greenhouse.
