Langoustines in season

We have officially entered the month of august, which means that summer vacation is almost over, and the last official month of summer has begun. But it also means that the high season for a beloved favorite of late summer has started. The high season of langoustines.

The different Cofoco restaurants all share the objective, of keeping the menus packed with the freshest products of the season. Here are a couple of suggestions of restaurants where you can enjoy the shellfish king of the season – the langoustine.

At Høst the langoustine is served in a juniper pancake with cabbage, as a part of their 5-course ”Høst Menu”.

If a single dish of langoustine isn’t enough, the delicious shellfish can be bought pr. 100 grams on Oysters & Grill. This makes it possible to decide individually, exactly how many langoustines should find their way on to the plate.

Les Trois Cochons is just the spot for the shellfish-obsessed. At this restaurant, the langoustines are a part of a shareable seafood platter, which also includes oysters, crab claws, lobster, rosé shrimps, scallops and crayfish to please every shellfish craving.

We promise, that whether you are mostly into langoustines a la Høst, Oysters & Grill or Les Trois Cochons, all of them offer the option of a cold glass of white wine for you to enjoy your langoustines in the perfect late summer-vibe.
